Can You Hear My Voice?

In writing we are talking about the trait of voice. Voice is what makes a paper sound like the author. It creates feeling and emotion in writing. Here are some samples from our activity last week. Students wrote as a gift they received for Christmas. Can you guess what each gift is?

I am fun. I CAN BE LOUD! I can become soft. You can hook me up in your car and listen to me. I play fun music and games. I don't like when my battery dies. I have one button on me, that is my home button.

I am so delish. I'm yum, yum, yum in your tum, tum, tum. And I melt over the fire. I come in white and dark and can have filling.

I love to run. I can only drink water. I CANNOT EAT CHOCOLATE. I am really quiet but not a big fan of raising my voice at other.

  I love when people take me different places. I have many brothers and sisters. People like to look at me for studies. I like when my owner takes me to school. I am usually in her desk. I'm happy with what I do.
