Story Problems

In MTSS we have been talking about story problems. All fourth grade students have been practicing creating a template to use when working story problems. Here are some online links to practice at home. Please encourage your student to use the template as they work through the problem. Rewrite the question in the first column. Write the variables (facts) that are told in the story in the second problem. Show your work in the third column. Write the answer with units in the last column.
