Welcome to Kansas!
This week we reviewed the Kansas Symbols and the students selected a symbol to give voice to. They drew their symbol in a natural habitat. Then they gave voice to their symbol and put their words in a speech bubble. We welcomed visitors and told about our wonderful state through our symbols. The pictures and welcome speech bubbles are in the hallway outside our door. Come check it out!
"Hey! What's up, man? It can get pretty hot up in here. The bees think I'm their mom. First off I'm a boy and second of all not everything has to be a bee even if they are black and yellow." --Salamander
