Today we watched video clips and talked about science questions. A strong science question is a question you can conduct an experiment to answer. If you can google the answer it is a research question. If you are making something (for example a boat or a volcano) it is a demonstration.
Students should come up with a scientific inquiry (experiment) question at home this week. They should fill in the question portion only of the packet and return it by Monday. Students need to complete the work at home each week. DO NOT work ahead as we will be talking about the expectations for each step weekly. Thank you for the support of our learning
