Today we reviewed hypothesis. Students should include the variable (what they are changing) along with what they think will happen and give a reason for this idea. It is important to do a little research before making a hypothesis so you can justify your statement.

Here is one of the video clips we watched today to practice writing strong hypothesis. Remember your student's hypothesis is due Monday, Feb. 2nd. Please do not work ahead, we will discuss materials list next week.

Today we watched some videos to practice identifying variables and writing hypothesis. The first two examples are excellent for the scientific process. Remember to have at least 3 trials in the experiments you do.
