We made it through the week. Today was a wrap up of a lab in math. Students used addition to calculate perimeter and find unknown perimeters with given length and width. Practice at home with some geometry basketball.
We had specials today and got excellent reports from art and counselor.
This afternoon we read a letter written to William Becknell (Santa Fe Trail founder) to identify and learn about common and proper nouns. Students then read in their own books to list common and proper nouns. These will help strengthen our writing and reading comprehension. Check out the video below for a short lesson.
