Physical Changes in Science

Today we used the Shrinky Dink machine to show physical changes in plastic.  The students enjoyed watching the film shrink and change due to the heat.  You can check out more information about Shrinky Dinks here.  This is a fun activity to do at home.  Shrinky Dink film can be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann's, Wal-Mart and online.  You can shrink the film in your kitchen oven and do not need the machine to use the film.  Let me know what fun projects you do.
