We have started our weather unit and we will be creating projects about weather instruments. Students will do most of their research and work in class. They will create a report telling the history, use, measurment, and give a description of their weather instrument. Students may bring an actual example of their instrument (please DO NOT go buy one) if they would like. We have examples at school as well. Part of the project will involve creating a replica of their instrument. I hope to do this with Mr. Cain during and after conference week. If your student would like to research at home here are the sites we are using. The projects will be presented in class on November 5th at 8:30 a.m. during our science time. You are welcome to attend.
