Kansas Anti-Bullying Awareness Week is October 1-8. West Elementary will be participating by having daily activities and discussion about bullying and what students can do. Below is a calendar of our events.
Monday 10/1/12 – Be a Team Player Day
Wear your favorite team color or shirt
Focus Bully Rule – We will not bully others
Tuesday 10/2/12 – Wear Your Helping Hat Day
Wear a hat day
Focus Bully Rule – We will help others who are being bullied
Wednesday 10/3/12 – White Out Bullies Day
Wear the color white
Focus Bully Rule - We will tell an adult at school and an adult at home when we know someone is being bullied
Thursday 10/4/12– Wear RED Day (Respect Every Day)
Wear the color red
Focus Theme – Be a H.E.R.O (Helping Everyone Respect Others)
Friday 10/5/12 – Pick a New Friend Day
Wear the color purple
Focus Bully Rule - We will make it a point to include others who are easily left out
