We ended STARBASE today with a bang! Literally. We started the day with a tour of the fire station. One group got to watch training planes take off from the observation tower. Ms Rice successfully flew and landed (a bit bumpy) the flight simator and the kids had varying degrees of success as well. The highlight was launching rockets! Thank you to all of he parents who helped make this experience so successful.
