Visualization

When you read you create pictures in your mind to help you comprehend and make sense of the story.  Today we listened to "Gregory the Terrible Eater" and drew what we were visualizing.  This activity can be done at home to practice.  As you read aloud to your child, have them draw what they see in their mind.  You can also practice visualization and other comprehension skills at Into the Book.
