What Do You Think?

This week we have been discussing making inferences in reading. To infer is to decide or conclude (information) from a book or movie with your own experiences and knowledge rather than directly from the author's words. Into the Book is an excellent web site to practice this and other comprehension skills. In class, we watched Pixar shorts to discuss inference. This was a fun way to use the story + our ideas to make decisions about the plot.
