Today for science learned about mixtures. Students went to stations and mixed items together to observe what was created. For each mixture the students had to decide if they (as their alter superhero identity) would use it as a potion or poison. The students wrote their observations and information about their mixture in their science log.
The kids had so much fun with our mixtures today they asked for the recipes. I told them to get parent permission before doing this at home. The other two experiments were simply mixing sugar and water, salt and water, corn oil and water, or baby oil and water.
