Today we worked on area and perimeter in class. The students has 40 minutes to complete the sheets. One was homework, but I provided time in class for them to work on it so I could assist them. You student should have brought home 2 pages (DAB 39-42).
Please look at these papers with your student this weekend. If they did not finish the papers in class, they need to complete them and return both papers on Monday. You might also have a conversation about how they are using their worktime in class. If your student completed the papers in class, please take a minute to look over the papers with them. You might also take a minute to praise their effort and hard work in class.
We will continue to work on area and perimeter this week by creating a map of their ideal playground and creating runways for "Antopolis" planes. For further practice see Math Playground.
