I hope you will join us for our Intel School of Distinction Community Celebration tomorrow night, Thursday, November 4 at 6:30pm. We will begin in the gym for a brief awards ceremony, followed by an Open House with refreshments. Students are to dress up in a costume that represents what they would like to be when they grow up, and/or they can also create a poster that demonstrates the same thing. If your child doesn't have a costume ready, or hasn't made a poster, we still want them/you to join us! The students have a special presentation they will make during the awards ceremony.
All students are to report to their classrooms at 6:15pm. I am asking staff to park on 6th Street to allow for more parking for parents, community, and special guests in our parking lot.
The Kansas Commissioner of Education, three of our State School Board Members, and many other "special guests" will be in attendance. I certainly hope you will take time to partake in this very special night for our school, district, and state!
We will see you tomorrow night! Thank you for your unending support!
