Kylee Update

I know the students are in good hands with Mrs. Hewlett, but I miss them all. I am going to be out again next week. They will do surgery on Kylee on Wednesday to remove a mass they have located between the inner and outer lining of her windpipe. It is just under the voice box. The prebiopsy indicates it does not have blue cells which means it is very unlikely to be cancerous.

They have put a tube in her throat so she will be able to breath easier. Her wheezing is gone now. We are learing how to communicate with sign language and pictures. They will be able to remove this when the mass is gone and they know her airway is safe. She is doing good and in good spirits. I hope to see you all soon!
