Practice Makes Perfect
In sports we practice skills with exercise and drills. Shooting a basketball, hitting a volleyball, increasing distances as we run all improve our sports performance. Academics are the same. Please be sure your child is reading for 20 minutes (or more) and practicing their math facts for 10 minutes (or more) at home each night. You can write this on their calendar or in their agenda. Practicing these skills will increase their success, just as practice at sports increase the team's chance for a win.
