Module 3 in our math curriculum covers area and perimeter, division and multiplication. Students have been using their math fact knowledge to apply these ideas to larger numbers. Here is a link to the entire module including videos of educators teaching these topics. Students are using a conceptual approach to understand what they are doing instead of memorizing processes.
We will have our unit test on Feb. 1st. At home you can assist your student with math fact fluency, understanding of place value and solving division problems using place value disks and partial quotient.
