Today we started our Government unit. Students will explore the constitution, rights and responsibilities, and consequences of choices in a democracy. During this unit, share with your child how you volunteer, educate yourself to vote and vote, follow laws, etc. We will discuss how a government works, not who a government is or should be. Questions to this effect will be directed home.
