Sentence Fluency

Today we used a fun link to talk about sentences.  Students rewrote sentences from the PBS Sentence Generator to work on sentence fluency.  We also reviewed subject, predicate, adjectives and adverbs.  Your students should be able to write a complete sentence and then identify the subject (who/noun) and predicate (doing/verb).  They should then be able to add adjectives and adverbs to make the sentence more interesting.  This is a fun thing to practice at home and would count towards reading minutes on the homework calendar.  Have fun!
