Light Energy

We have started our last unit in science and will be learning about energy and waves. Today we explored light waves with three centers. Each center students discussed "How is the light energy transferred?"  

1.  Place a ruler or straight up in a cup of water. Now move it diagonally. What do you notice?

2.  Use a magnifying glass to look at a page from different levels. What happens?

3.  Use a flashlight and shine it through different shaped lenses. What do you notice?
