Making Connections

We have been talking about making connections in stories and using the text and vocabulary to support where our thoughts are going. Today we watched this Gugi, Gugi. The English Language Arts Standars covered are: Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textual evidence when writing or speaking to support conclusions drawn from the text. Integrate and evaluate information presented in diverse media and formats, including visually, quantitatively, and orally.
