Wow! This week has flown by and we are all settling into the classroom routines and expectations of fourth grade. Your student should be bringing home an agenda every night. It will list topics we discussed, covered, explored in each subject. There will also be notes and reminders about events, tests, etc. Your student should be reading for about 20 minutes each day (400 minutes a month) and they should be fluent on addition and subtraction facts. They should be able to recall facts without using their fingers, counting forward/backward or drawing pictures. Check out the delicious site for links to play fun games.
