STARBASE Day 1

We had a great time today at STARBASE.  Thanks to the parents who went as helpers.  The students did a teambulding activity and secured Lt. Eggbert (non-boiled egg) to a wooden seat.  The seat was then strapped onto a rocket and "launched" to the moon.  The goal was to create a restraint and seat that would cusion his landing.  We did have one fatality with Alpha Eggbert.

In the afternoon we explored Newton's Laws.  There were fun experiments but the highlight was riding the hovercraft in the hallway.  After that we explored elements and The Periodic Table.
