Spirit Week

Next week we will be celebrating life with Spirit Week!  Money raised from the hat day will be donated to Relay for Life.

Monday: Wear Purple in honor of survivors and Relay For Life. 

Tuesday: Crazy Hair Day!

Wednesday: Wear your favorite Jersey or Team Colors! 

Thursday: 80's Day! 

Friday: Pay $1 to wear a hat.  

We will also hold a Penny War. This is how the Penny War works: Each class will have a container in a centralized location in the school.  Each day, children can bring in pennies to drop in their class container.  Now, here is where the competition begins!  Silver and dollars count against you. So if your child drops a nickel, dime, quarter or dollar into another class container, it counts that many pennies AWAY from that class total. (-5, -10, -25, etc.) The totals are counted each day and on Friday afternoon we will announce the winner! On May 3rd, the winning class will be treated to a PIZZA PARTY sponsored by Gambino's.

Points to remember:

·         Penny War containers will be located in the Cafeteria and will only be open for deposits during the lunch periods.

 

·         Feet will be on sale in the Cafeteria during lunch.

·         Any money collected after 1pm on Friday, April 26 will NOT count toward the Penny War, but will be counted toward the school's total contribution.

·         There will be daily random drawings for prizes, and prizes will be awarded for the most school spirit each day.
