Crazy New Math

Today we reviewed multiplication strategies for 2 digits times 1 digit. The students should be able to work though problems like this on their own. You can practice at home with this game. Use the random number generator to select a number. Mulitply that number by 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9. Use friendly numbers, expanded form, arrays, or all-partials methods. Stay tuned to the blog to see students explain these forms tomorrow. Please be sure your student is practicing their math facts so they can solve 50 problems in 3 minutes.
